Educating women, teens, and families in the areas of prenatal care, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, infant care, child seat safety, reproductive health, and hygiene.
The FCPEC is a non-profit organization providing childbirth and reproductive health programs in Franklin, Patrick and Henry Counties in Virginia. The Perinatal Education Center also provides free child safety seats and products.
There is a small fee for some of our classes, but no one is turned away because of inability to pay. Programs include prepared childbirth, breastfeeding, infant care, and safety seat installation.
